Sahara Group President invites Veena Malik on its news channel launch!

Sahara, an Indian conglomerate company, has recently launched their new Hindi news channel in Maharashtra and Gujarat and on the launching party President of the Sahara Group, Subrata Roy, invited the Pakistani starlet Veena Malik.Veena at the occasion said, “I feel very pleased that the Sahara Group President Subrata Roy invited me as a guest of this auspicious event. Media play a very important role in our society and I am very lucky to be a part of it.”

While talking to the media Roy praised Malik and insisted he likes her because she is a brave woman. Roy said, “Today is a very a big day for me as it’s the launch of my new news channel and its feel great that Veena Malik the super actress is being the part of it.” Laloo Prasad Yadav who was present at the event said, “Veena is a wonderful actress. She portrays herself the best and it’s really good seeing her always.” The controversial queen of Pakistan, who rose to fame during her stint in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house, created a stir across the border by appearing semi-nude on a popular men’s magazine FHM India. She also did many other cheap publicity stunts in the country. However, she still has the courage to call herself a Muslim.

The 28-year-old is hosting a religious show ‘Astaghfar’ on a newly launched Pakistani channel ‘Hero TV’. Initially the channel had to drop Malik because her presence created an outcry among the nation. Nevertheless, hardly a week later owner of the channels brought her back very smartly and now her show has broken all TRP records. As per the reports, Veena Malik’s show has reached highest TRP ever, with 30 million or 3 crore views. Perhaps the reason behind is that people have now started liking her new avatar.
Veena Malik said, “It was a very great moment for me that people across the globe has appreciated me and they accepted my show. The show has touched the heart of people which is shown by TRP.”
