The Slovakian company said in a press release that the AeroMobil Flying Car was 'commercially available' and that it was ready to take pre-orders for the limited first edition. The co-founder and CEO of AeroMobil, Juraj Vaculik, said that it was a "transformative day for the future of travel." Aeromobil's chief technology officer, Douglas MacAndrew, said the launch was a "triumph of engineering and design." The latest model can reach a top ground speed of 160 km/h and air speed of 360 km/h. It can become fully airborne in less than three minutes. It is an updated version of the 3.0 prototype unveiled in 2014.
