Cybercriminals played pornographic videos on the High Court's YouTube channel; Hacking during the hearing
Kolkata: Cybercriminals have targeted the Calcutta High Court. During live-streaming, cybercriminals hacked the YouTube channel of the High Court and played pornographic videos on it. Due to this, the live-streaming of the High Court had to be stopped immediately. A complaint has been lodged with the Cyber Crime Department of Kolkata Police regarding this matter. An official said, "The investigation of the case is going on. We are trying to find out the mischievous elements involved behind this crime."
Cybercriminals hacked the YouTube channel of the Calcutta High Court on Monday. This incident happened when the vacation bench was hearing a case. According to media reports, an obscene video was broadcast on the YouTube channel of the High Court, after which the live streaming of the High Court was immediately stopped.

According to reports, after a brief interruption, live-streaming was resumed using a different link. After the matter came to light, a complaint has been lodged with the Cyber Crime Department of Kolkata Police. Apart from this, the IT cell of the High Court is investigating how the incident happened. Earlier, cyber criminals had also hacked the YouTube channel of the Supreme Court.
According to media reports, the vacation bench of the Calcutta High Court was in session this morning. Justice Subhendu Samantar was hearing in Court No. 7. During the live streaming of the court, some obscene pictures were aired on the YouTube channel. The live-streaming was immediately stopped after the objectionable footage was aired.
