Prabhat Prakashan, India brings American poet Lee Slonimsky's popular poetry book 'Pythagoras in Love'

Highly successful and Internationally popular American poet Lee Slonimsky's famous poetry collection 'Pythagoras in Love' has been published by Prabhat Prakashan, New Delhi. It aims to bring Slonimsky's literary world to Indian readers. The book is divided into five chapters containing a total of 45 poems. Pythagoras in Love is a 2007 book written by Lee Slonimsky that blends poetry, fiction and historical romance. It is a poetic exploration of the life of the ancient Greek philosopher, mathematician and mystic Pythagoras. 

The book is described as a sonnet sequence that also focuses on mathematics and nature, and is a story of love, hope and perseverance. What began as a chance encounter in 2002, when the author was inspired to write poems about Pythagoras while strolling in Inwood Park in New York City, has become a remarkable literary achievement. Initially drawn to the mathematician's famous theorem, the author's curiosity soon turned into a deep fascination with Pythagoras' versatility.
