After defeat in Second Test, Pakistani Captain got Angry at the Journalists, "Stop insulting us"

Pakistan
: After the crushing defeat in the second test match against West Indies at Multan Cricket Stadium
when Pakistan captain Shan Masood came to the press conference, some journalists asked him some sharp questions, on which he got very angry. Disappointed with the questions, Shan Masood appealed to everyone not to insult the players.

In the press conference after West Indies' 120-run victory, a journalist asked Masood, "Will he leave the captaincy of the team himself or will PCB have to remove him?" Shan Masood lost his temper on this question.

The Pakistan captain ignored the journalist's question and asked to ask the next question, but the journalist who had asked this question asked him to answer this first.

An angry Masood said, "You can have your own thinking and I respect it but there is a lot of disrespect in your question." He said, 'You should not disrespect the players, me and anyone else. We all play for Pakistan and achieve results, but no one will tolerate such disrespect. You have to understand this. I have no complaint that you want to humiliate anyone but we are all players of Pakistan.'

Captain Masood said that the right to decide lies with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the players have always accepted whatever decisions the board has taken. He said, "You have to understand and appreciate that we are trying to do something different and you should explore it. We are trying to do something and we have won three out of the last four Tests on home ground.'

Masood admitted that his bowlers failed to get the West Indies out early after taking seven wickets for 38 runs and eight wickets for 64 runs on the first day of the match and then the batsmen performed poorly in both the innings.

The Pakistani team captain said, 'We have been facing the problem of not being able to get the lower order out early for some time and we have to find a way to deal with this because in Tests you have to take advantage of the opportunities you get as a team.'
