Who is Sam Husseini & Max Blumenthal? Forcibly Thrown Out of Antony Blinken's Press Conference for Raising Questions on Gaza

Sam Husseini, a freelance journalist in the US, was removed from US Secretary of State Antony Blinken's final press conference after he interrupted questions about the Biden administration's role in the Gaza war. Journalist Max Blumenthal also questioned Blinken and described the war as the "Holocaust of our time". Both journalists challenged Blinken's statements on the conflict.


There has been a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel, which is yet to be officially announced. Antony Blinken was talking about the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel during his last speech. He was talking about the work done behind this ceasefire. With which many journalists present there did not agree. When journalist Sam Hussaini asked a question about this, the Foreign Minister got angry. Later the journalist started shouting. After which he was ordered to throw the journalist out with the help of security personnel.


Sam Hussaini had asked about the role of the Joe Biden administration in the war in Gaza. He was one of the journalists along with Max Blumenthal who questioned Blinken on the Gaza war.

In the video, Husseini can be seen being escorted out by guards while he screams "criminal" at Antony Blinken. "Why aren't you in The Hague! Why aren't you in The Hague! Why aren't you in The Hague!" Husseini yelled.


Meanwhile, Journalist Max Blumenthal confronts Secretary of State Blinken during his farewell address to the State Department press corps: “Why did you allow the Holocaust of our time to happen? How does it feel to have your legacy be genocide?”


According to Wikipedia, Max Blumenthal is an American journalist. He was a writer for The Nation, AlterNet, The Daily Beast, Al Akhbar, Mondoweiss, and Media Matters for America, and has contributed to Al Jazeera English, The New York Times and the Los Angeles Time.


Sam Husseini is a Jordanian-Palestinian-American author and political activist. He is the communications director of the Institute for Public Accuracy, a D.C.-based nonprofit group that promotes progressive experts as alternative sources to mainstream media reporters. He has previously worked at the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee and the media watch group Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting. Hosseini has written articles for numerous publications, including CounterPunch, The Nation, The Washington Post, USA Today, and Salon.
